FAQ
The process
Kabinshop ceramics are all made individually by hand, this is a time consuming process. There is a cycle of making-drying-bisque firing-glazing-glaze firing , i do not fire my kiln without a full load hence the cycle usually takes a couple of weeks.
Do you do custom orders?
Yes i do when i have time, please feel free to contact me to discuss. I will not however make an item that is someone else's design under any circumstances.
When will i receive my order?
If your item is in stock it will be shipped in 1-2 days, if it is a made to order item it will be up to 3 weeks or as discussed. Shipping times will vary according to your location. Most orders are shipped using Royal Mail and UPS . UK orders are sent with untracked shipping and International ceramic orders are tracked and cards are untracked.
Packaging
Packing and shipping takes time to wrap carefully to avoid breakages. Your order will always arrive nicely wrapped and i do try to recycle wherever i can.[i have never ever bought bubble wrap as everyone in my building saves it for me !] I do not profit from shipping costs.
Taxes and import charges
Refunds and exchanges
I only offer refunds when items arrive broken or damaged. Please send me a photo and will do my best to sort out the issues.
How do i care for my ceramics?
Everything is handmade and can be delicate so i recommend washing by hand not in the dishwasher and do not put in the microwave. Having said this i mostly work in Stoneware clay which is very durable. You would not put a hand stitched dress in the washing machine!
Wholesale
I rarely do wholesale, i prefer to sell my work directly at a reasonable price.Selling at wholesale discount does not work so well for me.
Outlets
